Internships
Washington, DC / New Jersey
All three of Representative Runyan’s Congressional offices are pleased to offer internship opportunities for college students from New Jersey’s Third Congressional District.
These unpaid internships give students an excellent opportunity to learn about the federal government, the legislative process, and constituent services.
While Representative Runyan’s Washington DC office is not accepting any more internship applications for the summer of 2012, students are encouraged to apply for internships for the Fall 2012 semester (August to December).
Additionally, the Mt. Laurel and Toms River offices are presently accepting applications for both summer and fall internships.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) greeting office visitors, answering telephones, sorting and logging mail and assisting staff with research and writing projects as needed.
Interested applicants should submit the following materials to NJ03interships@gmail.com:
- A current resume
- A 250 word essay explaining why you wish to serve as an intern for Congressman Runyan
- A school transcript of grades (unofficial will do).
- A list of three references
