Runyan Tours Healthcare Facility
Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday August 14th, Congressman Jon Runyan (R-NJ) toured Ominicare of Southern New Jersey in Moorestown. In addition to touring the facility, Rep. Runyan was able to speak with employees about different healthcare issues and economic issues facing companies like Omnicare.
“The Omnicare facility in Moorestown is an outstanding facility that provides a great service to our region and they are only able to offer this service because of their talented and dedicated staff,” said Congressman Runyan. “I was amazed at seeing all that Omnicare does and how efficiently it was done. This facility should be an example for other businesses on how to run an efficient facility while navigating both state and federal bureaucracies. I learned a great deal about how government policies and regulations in the healthcare industry not only affect businesses but also individuals who rely on these businesses.”
Omnicare of Southern New Jersey is a long term care pharmacy that specializes in packaging of medications and assists medical professionals through a web-based pharmacy. The web-based pharmacy allows facilities to update and refill prescriptions online.
